I, the undersigned, acknowledge and accept that:
• Running or walking is an activity that requires a base level of fitness;
• Running or walking is an activity that often leads to injury and can, in extreme circumstances, result in death;
• Running on roads and paths carries with it additional risks of injury and death, including but not limited to vehicles, gutters, uneven ground and trip hazards, wet and slippery surfaces, unlit sections, and other pedestrians;
• I declare that I am aware of the risks and dangers outlined in this waiver and of running and walking generally and choose to participate in the runs organised by Craftrun at my own risk;
• I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am wearing suitable attire for running, walking and any other event or activity organised by Craftrun, including proper footwear and weather appropriate clothing;
• I am in good health and have a sufficient level of fitness to participate in any run or walk organised by Craftrun in which I choose to participate;
• In respect of any run organised by Craftrun I am solely responsible for running or walking at a speed and in a manner which accords with my level of fitness;
• I understand it is my responsibility to abide by road rules and other laws while participating in any event organised by Craftrun;
• I am not suffering any known medical condition which affects my ability to run or walk and otherwise participate in Craftrun events, or if I choose to participate with known medical conditions, I do so at my own risk and Craftrun bares no responsibility for the outcome of any such incident arising from this;
• I understand that I have the sole responsibility for the security of my personal possessions before, during and after any run or other event or activity associated with Craftrun. Craftrun is not responsible for my property at any time and I agree to hold Craftrun harmless in the event of any property loss or damage;
• I am solely responsible for holding insurance in relation to any personal injury, death or other event I may suffer while participating in any event organised by Craftrun;
• I release the organisers of Craftrun from any and all liability for personal injury, death or other event arising out of my participation in any event organised by Craftrun;
• I expressly indemnify the organisers of Craftrun against any claim, loss or damages suffered by the organisers arsing in any way out of my attendance or participation in any event organised by Craftrun;
• If I choose to consume alcohol at an event organised by Craftrun I agree to do so responsibly and at my own risk;
• I consent to Craftrun capturing images and video recordings of me whilst I attend and give permission for this content to be used for, but not limited to; digital marketing, social media, and print media. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or videos prior to publication and waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of photographs, videos or associated content, and;
• The organisers of Craftrun retain the right (at their absolute discretion) to require me to not participate or leave an event based on my state of health or behaviour.
